Starting out as a "One Man Van Operation" in Townsville in 2005, Kenny's Auto Electrical is today a diverse auto electrical business servicing cars and trucks, for general public, business fleets, mining, heavy duty fleets and the local transport industry.
The road that led owners Kenny and Rachel Torrisi to this point has been relatively smooth, thanks to a solid reputation for reliable service, unparalleled workmanship and expert knowledge. Having spent decades working as an auto electrician in the trucking industry, Kenny built his business around the understanding that down-time is critical, whether your vehicle operates in the mining industry, transport industry, a small business, or just to pick up the kids. It’s this core understanding that has led to a proud local business born off the back of customer referrals and industry recommendations.
Now with 20+ staff and two workshops – one main workshop in Townsville, and another in Cloncurry since 2014 – Kenny’s is able to help more people get back to going where they need to go, in comfort, quickly.
Today, Kenny’s continues to specialise in delivering auto electrical and air conditioning services and repairs, battery sales and parts supply, to heavy duty and mining fields. As Kenny’s team has grown though, the business has also established itself as a leading auto electrical, air conditioning, parts, REDARC Solar and battery provider for passenger cars and caravans.
As technology for modern vehicles and equipment continues to advance, Kenny’s staff are regularly upskilled to keep across ever-changing systems. It’s these progressive skills, in line with Kenny’s old-school, hands-on experience (for example: years spent pulling apart starter motors, cleaning them and putting them back together) that puts the company up there with the best when it comes to diagnosing, problem solving and workmanship.
